Defined Service Application Workshop

9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m.

KCGCD will provide an Application Workshop for the Defined Service Program at KCGCD’s office, 405 Dante Road, Knoxville, TN 37918. The workshop will go over accessing the Neighborly system, eligibility, and funding priorities. There will also be time for potential applicants to ask any questions they may have.

Persons requiring special assistance or accommodation should contact KCGCD at 865-215-5253 at least three days before the public meeting.

Those who are unable to attend in-person may attend virtually by registering on Zoom.


Public Hearing: 2025-2029 Consolidated Plan and
FY 2025 Annual Action Plan

Knox County is currently working on its Five-Year Consolidated Plan for 2025-2029. As part of this process, the County will apply for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for 2025. We invite you to participate in a public hearing to discuss housing and community development needs that may be addressed by CDBG and HOME funds during the next five years. The first public needs hearing will be held at the following location and time:

February 4, 2025 at 5:30 P.M.
Knox County Health Department Community Room
140 Dameron Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37917

Virtual attendance will also be available through Zoom, those who wish to attend virtually should register in advance. Persons with special needs should contact Knox County Grants and Community Development at 865-215-5253 at least three days prior to the public hearing with accommodation requests. This location is fully accessible to persons with disabilities.
